Roll inventory, end to end

Every roll accounted for, from goods-in to cut plan.

Rollmaster tracks every fabric roll by barcode from the moment it lands on the dock to the moment it hits the cutting table — length, lot, grade, location and remnant, all live.

One record per roll, for its whole life

Rollmaster replaces the receiving book, the location spreadsheet and the cutting-table tally with a single record that every team reads from.

Barcode goods-in

Scan a roll once at receiving. Supplier, lot, width, grade and metreage are captured in a single pass, and the label follows the roll for the rest of its life.

Live stock by location

Rack, bay and level for every roll, updated on each move. No more walking the warehouse to find out whether a lot is actually there.

Remnant tracking

Cut lengths are deducted at the table and the balance stays on the roll. Remnants stop being invisible stock and start being sellable stock.

Lot and grade traceability

Trace any finished order back to the rolls, lots and dye batches it came from. Shade complaints become a two-minute lookup.

Allocation and reservations

Reserve rolls against an order before they are picked, so two production lines never plan around the same 40 metres.

Reports that reconcile

Stock valuation, ageing and shrinkage reports that tie back to physical counts, exportable for whatever your finance team already uses.

Four scans, and the floor matches the system

The workflow follows what the warehouse already does. Nobody is asked to key in a second copy of anything.

  1. 01

    Receive

Rolls are scanned in against the purchase order. Rollmaster prints the label and records the opening metreage.

  2. 02

    Store

Each put-away scan writes the rack location. Stock on hand and stock by location stay the same number.

  3. 03

    Allocate

Planners reserve rolls against orders by lot and shade, with shortfalls flagged before the floor finds out.

  4. 04

    Cut and reconcile

The cutting table books actual metres used. Remnants go back to stock with their history intact.

“We used to lose half a day every week reconciling the floor against the spreadsheet. Now the spreadsheet is gone and the count matches.”
